How often have we tried to look for the perfect person in our lives? Every second of our lives, we ponder over thinking about infinitesimal persons. We think about unnecessarily necessary things – things that have no reason to worry about, things that have no reason to wonder and care about.

While doing so, we often forget to cherish and enliven the inner souls built and engraved so artistically- even Gods and Deities couldn’t embed. We have a tendency to renounce the good things. Rather, we prefer complaining and contrasting the bad among us.

You’re bout to learn something really remarkable and wonderful. It works like a magic wand – Harry Potter’s magic wand. It might sound amusing to all of you. But, trust me. The method is based solely on SCIENCE. It’s called MAGIC.

Here’s the trick. The trick is very simple – in words. But, very cumbersome to bring into practice. Every day you wake up, GO, and stand right in front of the MIRROR. The mirror doesn’t have to be a perfect one a 50 Rupees mirror will do the trick, too. LOOK STRAIGHT into the mirror.

AMAZED, eh ?
Nah ?

You see. The person you saw in the mirror is the only sole individual, who will change your life. No one else will. If you break your toe, you’ll have to bear the loss. If you win a lottery ticket, you’ll be the one to cherish and make the best out of that lottery ticket.

Our thoughts shape our decisions. And our decisions shape our actions. And ultimately, those actions lead to either – PROSPERITY OR DISPARITY.

It’s all UP TO YOU – THE MIRROR of YOU !

You just watch!
when I start to sing, you just watch!
it will be insane
cuz the stars will fall as rain
because they have sensed my pain
which underwent through all my vein
and if I start to cry
even the god will tell the lie
cuz he knows that I cant hear the truth again.

when i start to paint,
you just watch! slowly the colours will fade out
cuz they know if i do, I’ll spill all my heart into
& it will be harder for me
to head out i will unsee the mess thats laid out, infront of me.
Still got feelings to splayed out
& never realize this heart has been played out.

when I start to blame,
you just listen!
the voices in my head,
wet pillows on my bed will enflame
and claim cuz every night they fail to explain, me.
that it’s now lame to have flame
of getting back to the same
even after all these of what we’ve became.

when I start to write,
you just watch! how my hands will shake
cuz they’ve known how it feels
when been held they were like sheilds
& now all the warmth is gone
they feel like burned, they feel like torn
been suffering too long for doing nothing wrong
but what hurts most is seeing you unconcerned.

When world sleeps,

You come to my dream,

To feel each other shadows,

To make me listen whispering of your laughter,

Now it’s a time,

Time to say; your voice is all that I need,

To soothe me to sleep.

As I lie in my bed,

Becoming the helpless; thinking about you,

Wishing to be your blanket,

To get a cuddle the whole night,

Until you open up your eyes to the first signs of daylight.

In the nights I hear myself,

In the scupper ship,

Thinking and sinking into ocean thoughts,

You as a life jacket, you as a thought,

Helping me with your gentle heart.

When the windbreaks on my roof,

I can listen to the whispers and blows of your name;

Feeling your redolence,

Bringing your scent and rain of kisses.

A night enlightened by moonbeams witnessed the conversation of students from two girls houses. The trees, flowers and watery tiny ponds seem to smile on the moonlit night. The aestheticity is unspeakable.
I have a complaint letter in my hand that was meant to be exposed to the administration ages back from 4000E girls.
It was the time when people were talking about how they were treated, how the past 5 years would have been the best 5 years of our life if we never lacked communication. Well not tryna be too pessimistic;somehow we all have the same story.
Everyone’s eyes told something, something traumatizing. Everything was so dark and unilluminated behind the happy faces of girls studying novels instead of going out and play.
The question arises, what did we all face?
We were always told about the quality of education and this residential school is a good place. But why didn’t anyone tell us about the monsters living among us? Why didn’t you tell us that our male batchmates will have to follow different rules and have facilities unlike us? Why didn’t you tell us that we will be stared if we wear shorts (which is a part of our P.E uniform or we will always have to hide our sports bra straps with white shawl? Why?

Too much of silence. Too much disgust. Too much suppression.
Why would anyone dare to talk about practicing sports in middle pitch? It is owned by boys, right? Why do school pitches seem out of bound for girls? Why are we always told by the hpe department, “You are a girl you cannot play football”, “You are a girl you should not play with boys”, “girls cannot have a football team”.

Facts That No One Told You

01. Vaginal fart

★ A girl can have vaginal farts or vaginal flatulence or vaginal gas or “queefing,” which is just the release of air trapped inside the vagina. It can vary considering a woman’s age, sexual activeness, sweat, feminine hygiene products, tense muscles, etc. Vaginal fart may or may not produce sound. It’s a fairly common phenomenon for anyone with a vagina, at any age. Even our nose farts.

02. Penile fracture

★ A man’s penis can be fractured. It is called a penile fracture. A penis fracture differs from other fractures in our body part because the penis has no bones. It is a severe form of bending injury to the erect penis that occurs when a membrane called the tunica albuginea tears. Penile fracture is very very rare.

03. Cat’s roar

★ Cheetahs can’t roar. They can only meow like domestic cats. There are 38 species of cats on this planet. Most of them are relatively small. Big cats like lions, tigers, leopard, and jaguars can roar because these species belong to the Panthera genus and have a ligament in their voice box that can be stretched to create a larger sound-producing passage, resulting in a wider range of pitch. The lion’s roar is the most famous and can be heard up to five miles away.

04. Ten percent brain myth

★ It is a myth that humans only use 10% of their brains. We’re even using more than 10 percent when we sleep. We use virtually every part of our brain. The brain uses 20% of the body’s energy and contributes to three percent of the total body weight.

05. More than five senses

★ Human beings are not just limited to five senses: Sight, smell, touch, taste, and hear. We have more than five senses.

06. Pink milk

★ Hippopotamus milk is bright pink in color. This is a big misconception about animals belonging to a group of mammals. Hippos produce white or off-white milk (like all mammals). Hippos have no actual sweat glands, but they do have mucus glands, which release an oily secretion frequently referred to as blood sweat. There are two distinct pigments in the secretion: one red (hipposudoric acid) and one orange (norhipposudoric acid). When this secretion first appears, it is colorless. Under the sun, it turns reddish-orange in minutes and then later turns brown. However, it is neither blood nor sweat. Blood sweat not only serves as a natural form of sunscreen and moisturizer for the animal’s sensitive skin but also offers tremendous antibiotic properties to protect hippos from harmful bacteria when they’re in the water.

In theory, when the hipposudoric acid (red) mixes with the milk (white), it produces a pink solution. But there is actually no evidence to suggest that this ever happens.

07. Relativity and Einstein

★ Einstein wasn’t the first to coin the term relativity. Galileo Galilei and Sir Issac Newton first gave the concept of classical relativity. Now the word Einstein is synonymous with genius.

Esports As The Next Career Option ( Part I )

Esports! So what is this you may be wondering so at first, let me clarify to you what it is. E-sports is a leading trend to show your talent. The talent to play video games on a competitive basis. Yes, a competition of playing video games.

It can make and has made many’s careers and trust me. They’ve earned millions just by sitting at a comfy chair and playing video games such as PUBG, PUBG Mobile, Call Of Duty, Fortnite, League of Legends and the counting goes on.

Admit it and I am pretty sure that once in your lifetime, your parents may have said that “My child if you play such games, it will ruin your health, it will ruin your life” but now it is the time you prove them that you can earn simply by playing games.

And not only on a competitive basis, but you can also create a YouTube channel, record your game-plays, post it on your channel and your viewers will learn the strategies through it. YouTube will pay you if you have many subscribers. And you may also go live and play games on live stream and you’ll get paid. Apart from YouTube, there are many other platforms to stream and post your game-plays such as Twitch, Nimo TV, Miner and many more.

E-sports is a place with no nepotism and no age limit. Yes, there’s no age limit. You may be 13 years old or 60 years old, you can participate and play. And guess what! There are many e-sports organisations around the world and if you and your team play well, you may be sponsored by them and you’ll receive a salary.

And the main point, it is cheap you don’t have to pay millions for your studies like a medical student then think, you just need a device (an android, a PC or a console) and an internet comnnection as well as you’ll enjoy your life. There’s a little bit of risk but as the proverb says, “You have to risk it for the biscuit?” If you practise a lot, you’ll probably be successful.

And, I know if you tell something about earning money through gaming and e-sports to your parents, they won’t believe it. So, just narrate this blog to them or give examples about various gamers such as Ninja, Pokimane, Mortal, Dr. Disrespect, etc.

And, it’s not the end. I’ll be back with the part 2 of this blog. Till then, stay tuned with Nepthage

I was walking in the drizzle. High pitched roads with the euphonious music playing from my headphones made the walk more pleasant. The dark sky seemed to seek for eternity; so did my misery. The vintage textured leaves had already fallen from the trees and the new leaves had already covered the branches. My phone rang breaking the enormous silence. I disconnected the call. After a few minutes it beeped. It was dad asking me to come back home. I had left the home in an increased heart beat and clenched jaw. I sat on the bench near the aesthetic dark-green tree.Suddenly, time seemed to freeze. I couldn’t believe that my eyes were focusing on a bullet coming towards me. I remember the bullet entering my lungs disintegrating my ribs through my chest.I explained all this. I am desperate to know what happened next on 20th of Jan.

She is smiling as if I was reciting a story or a joke. I don’t know what’s going on. There is no scar on my chest or any part of my body. I want to go home! Her smile melted my wall when she shared her most captivating smile.I don’t know the whereabouts of my headphones or my phone. I am in the same grayish blue hoodie and trousers. I take her hands away from me and run towards my home. I see mom in a dark red sari with grey hair. I had never seen my mom with ‘grey’ hair. Dad comes towards mom and he compliments her. Mom chuckles. I am right in front of them. They cannot see me! I ran towards mom and hugged her. My body feels lighter like the air and passes through hers. I ran towards my room.

Looking at the mirror, I saw myself all ruffled and vulnerable. The past haunting me, the present humiliating me, the future bullying me, and the pain inside killing me, slowly and softly, I was all shattered, broken down into pieces that could possibly never be adjoined.

My physicality acting as a camouflage to my oddly naked soul, my grin hiding the ocean of sorrows. With all that I have and with all that I am, I was ashamed, ashamed of not fitting anywhere, belonging nowhere, and traumatized of being isolated. I was devastated, not because of who I am, but because who the society labeled me as.

A Girl In A Crop - Top
A Girl In A Crop-Top

I recently got to know the new word, “Mathemagician”, one who does magic with Mathematics.
So, I thought, why not give the title, “Mathemagician” to our society?

For our society seems to have lots of interests in Mathematics,
Who counts,
The whites on my hair,
The freckles on my face,
The unwaxed hairs on my legs;
And all the imperfections that my body holds.

I’m amazed by our Society’s outstanding knowledge of Geometry,
Who measures,
The curl of my hair,
The arch of my breast,
The bulk of my belly,
The curve of my hip,
And how perfectly;
Measures the angle between my two legs when I sit!

Her eyes were fairly open and they were never going to shut ever again. Her head laid on the cold ground and it kept bleeding. The sand where her body stayed had turned rosy red. And on that warm night of summer, vultures were hissing above the sky. On the other side of this site, the river was perfumed with her blood. The blood flowed like a river of rose to meet the stream. The fish in the stream were having a night of carnival. Everything was red, except the night, which stayed dark, even the moon’s stare was cherry red.

To this site, there came an animal, it came running as if it was hungry for her meat. The haze grew along the night, with passing time, it was getting thicker. The animal took a sniff of her body, with its nasty little tongue it licked her face.

‘Wait, you doggo!’, a man shouted from the mist.

His steps were stiff and they distorted the ground with each of his steps, carrying some of the soil with his boot.

Here she is!’, he sighed.

‘It has been hard for you to find her, hasn’t it?’, he talked to his dog, caressing him gently. The dog seemed happy to have been patted.

The bus shudders and finally halts after neatly lining along a gravelled road and I sigh in utter relief at finally being able to stretch my travel cramped limbs. I had placed myself near the window so the wandering breeze kisses cool breeze in my face. Suddenly the repressed thirst in my throat arouses as the calling songs of rippling water caresses my ears.

We all roll out of the bus gathering in groups and saunter along the way chattering loudly, laughing and relishing the presence of the cloudy yet serene weather. Walking an elevated path a construction site appears at our left while all sorts of hotel and restaurants reside at our right.

You have probably heard of the big bang as an event that gave rise to our universe. It occurred 13.8 billion years ago according to cosmologist. Basically , Big bang tells us that our universe evolved from very tiny dense ball to gigantic space. This sounds really ridiculous and pointless to many people. Is this theory fallacious or veracious?

HISTORY OF BIG BANG

In 1608, A Dutch spectacle maker named Hans Lipperhey invented an instrument that could magnify any object up to 3 times.

Hans Lipphery

This was the first telescope-like device in the history of humankind. However, Historians are not absolutely sure who invented the telescope.

DEPRESSION??

Are we sure we know the actual meaning of depression? Every time we overthink and fall into some kind of tension, we usually conclude it as depression. But is it what we actually think it is or do we need to have a note on it.

About 250 million people globally are into depression and guess what most of the cases are found to be between the age group of 15 to 29. This chronic illness even leads to suicide. About 800,000 people die every year due to this depression and yes again, the rate is highest among the youngsters.

Do you know how it feels to die at 18?
Do I? Not really; I died at 23.
I can tell you how I felt when I left home at 18, though.
I was heartbroken.
I would hug my mother every 5 minutes before I left home.
and cry.
My sister would read out to me her list of gifts she wanted me to bring when I come back.
and say, I will miss you.
and cry.

My dad was not going to miss me.
I knew.
for all he wanted to make sure was if I had packed my stethoscope – his farewell cum study well gift.
At the check-in gate, he waved me goodbye.
I didn’t except that
but, he cried.

The Flat Earth Theory

image 13
The Flat Eath

The Flat Earth model is the Earth’s shape as a plane or disc. This had been believed by many ancient civilizations ( Greece, European, Indian, Chinese, Egyptians ) for a few centuries back. By around 330 BC, Plato’s former student Aristotle provided evidence for the sphericity of the earth. This discovery has shaped the future. Earth was the only planet that wasn’t named after Greek or Roman god or goddess.
In America,6.5 million people believe in flat Earth that includes high profile artists and athletes. There’s even a  community called ‘The Flat Earth’.The members of the community call themselves ‘The flat Earthers’.

Mark Sargent

According to the Flat Earth Society’s leadership, its ranks have grown by 200 people (mostly Americans and Britons) per year since 2009 .They believe that contrary to everything that human species have learned over the centuries .

Special Relativity In Plain English — Everything You Need To Know

The term relativism belongs to philosophical views and is of many forms like Alethic relativism is the doctrine that tells us the truth is always relative to some particular frame of reference. Overall, relativity is all about the change in perception of different people at a different time in different frames of reference. A frame of reference is not a complicated concept. It is just something you decide is a fixed point or group of connected points. It is completely up to you. For example, when you look up at celestial objects in the sky, you fix the Earth as your frame of reference, and the Sun, Moon, etc seem to move across the sky. Everything is relative to something. People often drive their car real fast on highways, but it is not only the car that is moving. Earth itself is spinning on its axis at more than a thousand miles per hour. The universe itself is expanding. The universe is not only expanding but also the expansion rate is accelerating. Nothing is in absolute rest or absolute motion. Relativity is not just a science or Einstein or Newton or some kind of frustrating equation. Forget science. It’s midnight. You take your clock or darkness as the frame of reference.

You are reading this in the year 2020, probably the cursed year of the 21st century. Somebody will be reading this in 2021 or 2031 or whatsoever else. The time was even there when humans had no idea about numbers. You are eighteen years old that just meant the Earth has revolved around the Sun 18 times or so since the time you were born. The question that arises here is how to define time. Are the laws of physics constant in time? Does time exist? Does classical physics apply to the object moving at more than a thousand miles per second? Would length vary with speed? Is space homogeneous or isotropic? Your clocks run on batteries which make time slow for you as your batteries approach expiry date but not for me and somebody else with a brand new clock. You can reckon time independent of your psychological state.
